Is 12dpiui too early to test?

I took a test this morning, and BFN. I'm upset but for some reason holding out hope that its just too early. My beta is scheduled for Monday morning. Is there any chance that its just to early? I had TONS of really bad cramping a few days ago (10 dpiui) and I'm holding out hope that that could be impantation. Am I living in denial? What do you ladies think?

 I just posted this on TTTC too, but I'm wondering what you all think.

    I think this totally depends.

    To be honest I find that usually 12piui is pretty accurate. However if you look at the statistics of PG tests 12dpo is still only around 60% accurate. So I don't think it hurts to hold onto a little hope if you want to!

    I hope your BFN turns to a BFP in a few days!

    It could possibly be a bit too early.  I usually test around day 13 or 14.  I hope you are a little early and you get your BFP.  Best of luck!

    If if was implantation just 2 days ago, then it could def be too early.

    My first IUI I got all BFN's until 14dpo.  Unfortunately it ended up being ectopic.  I would keep testing.

    Mine was accurate but you could be a late implanter.  Good luck to you.  I hope you get a BFP!

    I know that many ladies on here get bfps that early, however I never did.  I think the earliest I got one was 13 dpo but it was barely there.  This last cycle I got a bfn on 12 and 13 dpo before a faint bfp on 14 dpo.  I hope you get your bfp this cycle.

    It really depends.  For my BFP I got negatives on 12 & 13dpo, but positive on 14dpo.  It also depends on whether or not you used a digital, those aren't as sensitive.

    I think it really depends on each individual. That is why I only test the morning of beta to prepare myself for a negative.

    After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.
