Long AW-PIPs

So my birthday is tomorrow and I haven't really been looking forward to it. We planned a weekend in Chicago with my parents, sister and BIL and I wanted to cancel it and stay at home on the couch. My feet get tired from too much walking and I wear out easily. I'm sure many of you can relate. Everyone else still wanted to go though so I decided to be a trooper.

Then my best friends father passed away and he lived in Chicago. So now instead of a fun weekend in Chi-town, I am attending the viewing tonight and the funeral tomorrow. DH is going with me to the funeral but the rest of the family will go to the Cubs game as planned and whatever else.

Needless to say, while it is very necessary I attend these services, of course I am not at all looking forward to them.

Then this morning I woke up to this...

For some reason I was convinced that DH hadn't enough time to get me a present. Kind of silly but this is what I thought.

Anyway, it made my day and I'm kind of excited now for my birthday! AND the top one looks jewelry boxish...

Also at some point in the last couple of weeks since I took a picture I started looking very pregnant! Here is me today at 22 weeks!!
