I've used a Sakura, Maya, Comfy Joey and a Kalea. My favorite out of those is by far the Kalea, it has the comfiest shoulder to me and is super soft. Alot of people love Sakura Blooms, but I didn't find the shoulder comfy at all.

How far along are you? Check the baby wearer forums for a used one, and I think there is a website, paxbaby, or somewhere like that where it lets you pay a fee to try out different carriers for a set period of time. I kinda' wish that I had done that, though I love all of my carriers.
Re: Slings-rec. yours
I love my sling from sleepingbaby.net. (Sorry no clicky)
Jan is super-helpful and they are actually reasonable prices.
