People Telling DH horror stories! (vent)

My husband comes home from work and tells me all these labor horror stories that people have told him. Also his family tells him horror stories. Things like being in labor from wed-sun, or inductions ending in c-sections, or tearing like hell. All of this is being told to him and hes freaking out and i feel completely calm (for now) Im just wondering are they TRYING to scare him??? Hes so worried about me now, and because I want to get induced (personal choice, not asking for opinions sorry) everybody feels as if its their decision and is telling him bad stories to pass on to me so I will change my mind! Excuse me, keep your mouth shut, thank you. This is mine and hubbies decision and its not your place to open your damn mouth trying to persuade him otherwise. Why on gods earth do people feel they have the right to this crap? Also people who like to butt in and tell me what I should and should not do for MY labor and delivery. This is not your kid or your body so keep your stories and opinions to your damn self unless asked otherwise!! sorry, I really had to vent after hubby coming home and telling me another horror story someone told him about the decisions WE have made regarding l&d...ergh!

    We have come a long way from the dark ages where women and labor stayed between other women and now every one feels like they have a say... Its irritating as all get out I agree but people are going to have their opinions and unfortunately they are going to share them with you

    I think of those people with bad birth stories as squeaky wheels. They always get the grease and youre always hearing about them. Take them with a grain of salt and learn to change the subject QUICKLY... GL

    H hasn't been told labor horror stories but the other night he mentioned something about expecting a baby on Xbox live and one of the guys that he plays with screams, "Noooooooooo! Dude don't do it! She's never going to want to have sex again and you're balls will be dragging the floor."

    My fiance gets this sort of thing a lot. And I want to have sex way more often than he does, so they have no clue LOL. Embarrassed
