So I have two wraps.
A hoppediz and a girasol (both around 4.7m)
The girasol is lighter than the hoppediz and I got it second hand. My plan had always been to cut the girasol down to a 3.6 length to do ruck carries etc.
I thought with the coming summer, it would be cooler, plus I haven't mastered a double hammock, but figured I could do that with the hoppediz.(Although probably too warm in summer for that anyway)
Now that the girasol has arrived, I LOVE it and I'm not sure I can bring myself to cut it down. Even though it will be more useful to me if I do.
So tell me I'm doing the right thing!
Thanks

Re: can't decide what to do with my wraps
I would honestly cut your Hopp to use for a shorty. The Hopp is a more supportive wrap, so it will be great for single carries (RUB, RTIF) as your lo gets bigger. The girasol is great for a little one, but less supportive in a single carry for a toddler. If you leave the length on the gira, you can do double wrap carries (DH and BWCC) to make it more supportive for you as LO gets heavier.
Also with using the heavier wrap for RUB and RTIF, it won't be as hot, the Gira is thinner so even in double carries it shouldn't be bad.
Don't think I haven't thought of this. Especially as I've just found a local supplier of a very nice girasol in the 3.6m
I think my DH would get a bit mad at me.
