My DS is 14 y/o, will be 15 y/o in December and is a High School Freshman. Right now I have his curfew set at 9pm on school nights (unless there is a school activity) and 10:30pm on the weekends. We live in the burbs, in a quiet town. Do you think this is reasonable? Too lenient? Too strict? I see a lot of kids his age out and about later, so I am kind of questioning myself. What do you think?

Too busy to update the pics for now ...
Well, since I am completely unqualified to reply, according to auntie, take my comments with a grain of salt. (insert eyeroll here)
I taught high school kids, and for the ones that were good kids with parents who bothered to set them, curfews were pretty much in line with what you're laying out. It could be flexible based on the activity, but 9 is plenty late on a school night, and I don't think 10:30 is that much of a hardship to meet.
And to compare it to my 'outdated' curfew as a teen, mine was 9 on school nights and 10:30 or 11 on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays I was expected to stay home after dinner with the family.

This is about the same I had set for Kevin unless there was something specific going on like you mentioned. Senior year was later but that's it.
There were always kids that were allowed out later but I just didn't think he needed to be.
