Braiding your woven

So.. I just got my first woven wrap from FSOT. It's a gira It's not totally broken in yet and I have seen many of the people braid their wraps to break them in more. Does anyone have any tips or links showing how to do this? I googled it but didn't have much luck finding anything. TIA.

Do you know how to do a chain link (like in croucheting)? ?That is how I do mine. There is a youtube vidio for it but I'm on my PS3 browser and it does not do youtube to well so I can't look. I store my moby like that and I would do my woven that way to, except I use is so much I never really store it, just have it over my rocking chair.
