belly bandit and others?

i'm contemplating ordering one of these.. not sure if it's worth it or not,

I was pretty small to begin with and am scared that it would be useless however i would like my body back :)

has anyone ordered any of these, or the belly bandit itself? I would get the belly bandit if i know it works, but i have a heard time spending so much money on something that might not. Technically these all have the same idea.

Re: belly bandit and others?

  • I plan on ordering something to help for sure, not so sure it will be the belly bandit though as I don't want to fork out $60.

My local Burlington sells something very similar to the belly bandit for only $20 and I certainly plan on buying it.

Anything to get my little waist back I will do.

  • I ended up ordering the belly bandit and hip shrinkx since they are more well known but the Wink garments look very intriguing and I was tempted to go with them instead. Would be interested in hearing from anyone who used Wink.

  • I bought the Jolly Jumper Tummy Trainer, less than half the cost of a Belly Bandit around here.

  • Hey I'm lurking from 6-9 mo--I bought the belly bandit and was all ready to use it after I gave birth.........however, i wound up with an unplanned c-section after a failed induction and after that there was NO WAY in hell i could put that thing on since it hit my scar and the swelling after surgery made it not even fit (i actually tried 6 weeks PP) ---so for me it was a waste of $50.  Even after I got to the point where the scar didn't hurt, I coulnd't stand having it on and it showed SO much through my clothes it was so obvious I had something on that it made things worse.....

So my two cents is, save your $$, invest in some good shapewear and just plan to eat healthy the minute you get home and workout when you are cleared to

  • I bought mine on Craigslist for $20. It was in excellent shape and the girl said she only wore it twice. Based on how it looks, I do believe her.

  • I was telling my mom that I wanted to buy the Belly Bandit, and she told me that it will work in the beginning, but in reality it's much better to retrain your muscles by holding them in yourself vs. binding them with a contraption. So, I think I'm going to save my $80 (that's what the Belly Bandit is here) and invest in some new Spanx for when I go out.
