I broke down and bought Robert (or Bobby as he will be called in our house). I loved his colors since before he was released (2 sided blue/grey cotton/linen blend). I know he will be on FSOT cheaper even just a month from now, but I couldn't wait. We have quite a bit of tails with size 6 and I am hoping to love Bobby in size 5. Are you waiting for anything?
Fortunate to be a SAHM to my 3 musketeers (5/2006, 5/2010 & 12/2011).

Oh he is handsome! Did you buy him new? If so I forsee lots of braiding, wrapping, and sleeping on him in your future.
I'm not waiting on anything right now, I have to wait til after my birthday before I'm allowed to buy again.
Well my vat tibet has gone traveling, and some petrol fishies are here with us temporarily, so I guess you could say I'm waiting for tibet to come home eventually.
BUT I have decided what my parents and DH are getting me for my birthday in November. I'm going to get an earthy rainbow from the wearababy coop on bbc, and I want to preorder the not even woven yet girasol gaia (but I still haven't pulled the trigger because the site is in German and I'm scared haha)

How to you like the petrol fish?
Bobby is my birthday present. I am SO intimidated by the foreign websites too. The language barrier for one thing and a fear of unknown fees coming my way is another!
I LOVE the petrol fish! When I took it out of the package, I was initially amazed at how soft the cotton was in hand. I won't say it has any "magical wrapping qualities" like some people talk about wraps, but it is very cozy and makes my and DS's eyes look the most fantastic shade of blue. I think I'm going to pick one up eventually if nothing else than for some photo opps!!
Bobby is so pretty IRL; you will love him!
