Daycare and car seat question

I was wondering how it works with a baby in daycare, can you leave the car seat with the baby in case DH is going to be picking up LO? (If we have two bases)

Otherwise, I would always just have to pick up LO since I will be dropping her off. DH is in law enforcement, so every month his schedule changes between 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts.

    Depends on the day care I imagine. At ours we can leave the car seat. I drop off and DH pics up.

    When DS was in a snugride careseat we had a base in each car and i left the carrier at daycare. I guess it would depend on the daycare it was never a question or consern for us though. Good luck!

    It depends on the daycare as pps have said. My daycare won't allow us to leave carseats or strollers anymore.

    Definitely depends on the daycare. Ours has "carseat parking." The front of the cabinet is chalkboard so you write your child's name so you know which one is yours. I do drop offs and pickups, but rather than taking it back to the car each time I leave it there. Also, if I was in an accident during the day I'd have to get a new carseat.

    When we were using the infant carseat, we had a base in each car. The daycare had an area designated for us to leave the carseat during the day, in case DH had to pick DS up.

    Now, we have a convertible carseat in each car.

    We have a convertible in each car. Before that, we left the carrier in daycare under the crib.

    We always left the seat at daycare when DS was in the infant seat.  There was space underneath each crib for the parents to store it.

    Our daycare has a closet for carseats.

    Our was stored under the crib during the day. We have convertible car seats in each car now.
