Hey everyone!
I did end up going in last night. My midwife was unavailable all night (turns out yesterday was her day off, and the lady on call at the office failed to remember that, so she didn't refer me to the proper person) and my chart had a note in it about no internals.(The note was there, because my midwife and I had discussed not doing internals UNLESS NECESSARY) For some reason, the OB on call decided that that meant no internals, ever, even if I asked, and even if I was presenting PTL symptoms. So I was on the monitor for awhile, and they sent me home with bedrest instructions.
My MW calls this morning, panicked because they left her a very vague message of what happened, and she was pretty concerned. I go in to the office and she checks everything out. The contractions stopped after we left the hospital last night. I am not dilated or effaced, but LO's head is pressing pretty firmly on the cervix, and my it is starting to soften.
I'm on informal bedrest now. I have another MW appointment on Tuesday. I am a little upset about the dismissive attitude of the on-call nurse, and the fact that there had been no way for me to get ahold of my MW, but that was what she kept telling me to do. I just kept trying in vain.
LO's heartrate and fluid levels were good though, she is doing well, and movement is good, so now we are just relaxing at home, trying not to FREAK OUT.
