Fall question... NBR. Please settle this.

So my calendar says that yesterday was the first day of fall... And so does the internet sight I looked at. Then 3 friends said today is the first day of fall.

Please settle this

I know this is crazy but I know I can count on you ladies!

I was under the understanding that as of 11pm last night (eastern time) it was officially Autumn.

I thought it would never get here! Not just because of having LO, but it's my favorite time of year!!

Found this on wikianswers. Though, may I just note that it is snowing where I am, so I kind of missed fall. It went straight from late summer to winter. That sucks.
