That is the question. Here's the situation.
We just moved into a new office this week. It's not quite finished, so there are still a lot of workers around. I went to the bathroom, and when I came out, a couple of workers were there in the hallway doing something or the other. I said "Excuse me," very politely, and went around them and their equipment to get back to my desk. Then, one of the guys says, "These people expect to move in here and not have any workers around. What a joke."
Now, granted, I know he wasn't saying this TO me, but he sure said it right after I walked by and loud enough for me to hear, and I think it was pretty rude. I want to tell my boss, but because I think it's inappropriate and unprofessional of them to make snarky comments like that (especially when I didn't do or say anything rude to them), not because I am "that pregnant lady who is whining that the workers were mean to her".
What would you do?

Re: To snitch or not to snitch...(NBR)
Maybe you said it with a tone and didn't realize it.
I don't think it's a tattle-worthy offense.
This.
What can they do about it really?
As a PP said, maybe you had a 'tone' in your voice without intending it.
Ignore it. First off, your boss has no power over the construction workers who are in there finishing up the work. Second, it would just be pretty childish. Construction workers are under no obligation to be nice to you, behave in a professional manner towards you, or anything of the sort. They don't work for you, under, over you, with you.
Let it go.
