  My best advice would be to call your Dr to confirm... I think it would depend on why you were placed on "strict" bedrest.

  just call and ask. It should be ok as long as its not dizziness or something that would cause you not to be able to. But I would ask

  Assuming you aren't driving Fred Flinstone's car I'd say you can probably drive yourself...

  I don't see driving a car as more stress on your body than riding in one. Unless you're uncomfortable or are having physical issues I think you can drive yourself

  My BP was high and went up during the appointment so they wanted to see if it went down with bedrest

  I am on strict bed rest as well and my doctor said as long as I just go directly to and from her office, no stops in between, then it's fine. Luckily my sweet husband has driven me each time and I have been on bedrest for almost 3 weeks!
