I found out last night that I've been indirectly exposed to shingles. A woman at work has them. Fortunately, last week, when I was supposed to work with her, I had some nasty BH and we decided I should stay home and someone else went in for me. I keep my hands washed and/or sanitized... I'm actually pretty anal about the hand washing these days (I work with kids).
I've had chicken pox and the other woman who has had contact with her had had chicken pox and shingles. Is there anything that I should be doing here? I will talk to my doc this afternoon, but I'm curious to find out if anyone else has been exposed and if there is anything you did to avoid.

Re: Shingles?
You can get shingles if you've had chicken pox. Your doctor can test your blood for immunity and prescribe you an antiviral if need be.
ETA: I edited for clarity. My answer was all jumbled...it's nap time.
Shingles isn't contagious unless you actually touch the rash, so you're fine.
