3rd Trimester

Thanks for your concern DH

Good LORD! I know that DH is more worried about the whole pregnancy situation than I am. I think its really sweet that he's worried about the babies and my well being.

I am however going insane because he's too worried. I was in the tub and forgot to bring the phone with me. I was getting ready to finish up when the phone rang. I knew it was him because it was so early in the morning. I said to myself  "He'll call back in a min, theres no need to rush".

I proceeded to get out of the bath and begin the Olympic routine of getting dressed. The phone rings again, the stupid thing wouldn't cut on. I call DH RIGHT back and am talking to him on the phone explaining why I didnt answer. MIL shows up at my door, she says he was really worried so she came to check on me.

Again, DH it's really sweet you're concerned. I am a big girl, I have been taking care of myself for a LOOONG time. If I'm not comfortable, you will be the first to know, so PLEASE let me have a bath without sending out the calvary.

  • Haha, that is cute. My husband is the same way. He has a panic attack if I don't answer the phone the first time he calls. He always conjurs up these scary scenarios in his head. I have a feeling it's only going to get worse until we have the baby.

  • Haha! Did we marry twins? My Dh has sent my MIL to our house as well when I slept through his call. I don't know what to do with him. The only time he freaks out over stuff is if it has to do with me. Anyone else, he's cool as a cucumber. He actually had an anxiety attack when I had LASIK done years ago. He's already managed to get queasy/worked at a routine u/s. God help me. I can only imagine the 'help' he's going to be come delivery time.
  • That sounds like my DH too.  He works 24 hours on adn 48 off and when he works I'm in the bed by 8:30  and usually asleep by 9:30 if not earlier.  He calle dme one night and couldn't get me b/c I was asleep so he sent MIL over (she lives across the street). MIL knocked on the bedroom window and woke me so I got a golf club and didn't sleep any more that night so he got fussed out and told he better not do that again. But yet it hasn't stopped him.  He needs to learn you don't mess with this pregnant woman and her sleep.
