I stopped taking prenatals around week 15. I couldn't stand the constipation issues they caused me, so with my doc's consent I switched to Flinstones vitamins. They're much easier to deal with and I like biting the heads off my vitamins.
Unable to even.

This, especially that last part. Head-biting is fun.
I took a folic acid supplement as well.
Now that I'm BF I'm back to taking the regular prenatals since I don't have to worry about nausea anymore.

A friend of mine had horrible all day sickness and her doctor took her off of her prenatals. She's 8 months now and had her galbladder (I know it's not spelled right) removed and that helped her nausea but she still doesn't take her vitamins. This seems strange to me.
Re: 1st Tri Lurker
I still take mine daily. And my iron supplement since I'm low. I take the Prenate with the DHA in them, I don't think they are bad to take at all.
I will likely continue to take them while BF-ing as well.
I'm still taking mine.
You should take them throughout your pregnancy and as long as you nurse.
Am I having deja vu??
IKR?

I've been taking mine, and mine are 2pills, 3 times a day, + 2 folic acid and 1 DHA at night.
I think I've missed like a dosage once or twice on a weekend my entire pregnancy, but it's not so bad.
It's a GIRL!
I knew it!!
God forbid you have to take a vitamin for 6 months to make sure you and your baby are getting what is needed.
The horror.
Honestly, what is with people today?
I can assure you that there are much worse things to come than "choking" down a vitamin or two.
I knew you were the Flinstones murderer!
