Hi everyone! I am new to BW and I am a plus size woman! My question is... Will the Moby work for me? I want to make sure that the fabric is long enough to go around me and still keep my LO nice and comfy!
I have enough extra to tie in front with plenty to spare. I used it on DH once, and he had to tie in the back, but he had quite a bit extra. He's ~195, 5'10. The Moby should fit everyone I think.
I just saw how old your LO is. How heavy is your LO? The Moby gets uncomfortable as they get older. If I were you I'd buy a used moby or use some fabric to make one since you won't be able to use it for more than 3-4 months probably.
I love the Moby for newborns, but it got less comfortable around 3 mo when DS's weight started sagging it down. A 4.6m woven wrap is just a little shorter than a Moby and a good length for most to do most carries.
BTW, we have a RNP too. Isn't it awesome? I was thinking how often we use it when I was pushing DS around place to place when I got a shower and got dressed today.
Fortunate to be a SAHM to my 3 musketeers (5/2006, 5/2010 & 12/2011).
Soy & dairy free for the 3rd and final time.
Re: BW ? about the Moby
I agree with Kelly, the moby wont last you long. I highlly recommend getting a woven wrap!
