Growth u/s is scheduled for this coming Monday. The doctor said nothing about Lentil having flipped? So I'm assuming no news is good news, and Lentil is still head-down? The internal exam was not painful at all - he was gentle, and was singing Let It Be for some reason. LOL DH got there late, so we got to the heartbeat thing twice (once for his benefit). But...my cervix is still long and closed, so I guess I don't have to worry about labour anytime [very] soon.
As for the pedi? We LOVED him. He was older...maybe 50's or so, and just reminded of me the typical old-school family doctor. He seemed very knowledgeable, and had answers to my questions, answered them very openly, and if I asked him his opinion on something that required thought and debate, he sounded educated in his opinion and funny in his verbage.
More importantly, when we spoke about vax schedule, he reminded me that there are certain things we WILL want to vaccinate for since we will be trying to travel to Colombia at least every few years, that he would recommend holding off on to another family who wouldn't be traveling to a third world country. He's from Argentina, and was warning DH about South American women. LOL
He's board-certified pedi, but also a family physician, which I think is nice - DH and I will go to him and/or his partner in practice for our physicals and stuff.
