Do you have an ideas as to what you are having? and why?
I'm thinking another boy. I'm carrying the same and this pregnancy and this pregnancy has mirrored the pregnancy with DS.
And when I tell people this, it really irritates me when they sigh and say something like "oh, well you never know. It could be a girl."
Thanks. But I'll be estastic for another boy.
What about you?
Re: If you are team green
Everybody in both sides of the family and people at work all think I'm having a boy. H even got on this bandwagon.
But the whole time I've been leaning more towards this being a girl. This is my first, so I have no other pregnancies to compare it with. I'm not using any old wives tales to guess (which is what everybody else is doing). It's just a gut instinct. I've also had dreams about having a girl, but who knows, maybe it's my IRL thoughts that it's a girl that are creating those dreams.
I honestly have no inklings whatsoever on boy/girl! I have found it to be easier to go through the entire pregnancy without really thinking about it. In the beginning I would think about it, and then end up with serious doubts as to my ability to stay Team Green.
As for what other people think, I think it's pretty split in half - maybe a little bit more are leaning towards Lentil being a boy.
I won't lie, it'd be nice to have a girl (I grew up with all sisters), but I'm convinced it's another boy, too. Which is fine - DS is fun to have around, ha ha ha...
DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)
I have a strange feeling like the PP that I'm having a girl as well. Gut feeling too.. but when people ask me I tell them I think I'm having a baby...
Not to sound cliche but if it's healthy, I'm happy.
We have no clue and if one more person asks me about my motherly instinct...
lol!
We knew DD was a girl and I must say that I am completely enjoying the experience of not knowing and am very much looking forward to the big surprise in the delivery room!
I think I'm having a boy and that's what everyone else says except for those few who say girl just to be different.
Like some of the others, this is the first baby, so I don't have anything to compare to. I didn't think I had a really strong feeling one way or the other, but I keep saying "she" when I refer to LO, and the other day my mother accidentally hit my stomach and I made a comment about her "walking into her granddaughter." I I have no recollection of this, but 3 people heard me say it. So, it seems that I think baby is a girl.
From the beginning though, everyone has said they think LO is a boy, mostly because of how I'm carrying. Toward the end it's been starting to change, and now it's closer to 50/50. In the beginning though, it was about 80/20, leaning toward boy. We can't agree on a boy's name, so we'll probably get a little boy. lol
I'm convinced this one is a boy. Not really sure why, just a feeling. Both my pregnancies haven't been very different. This time the baby's heart rate has been lower (old wives tale = boy) in the 130's, DD's heart rate was always in the 170's.This baby seems to roll more than DD ever did, and dropped a lot quicker... but I think that has more to do with 2nd pregnancy.
Either way we'll be thrilled, and have plenty of neutral newborn clothes from DD. DH might not let me have anymore kids if this is a boy tho... he'll have one of each and be content.
I have been pretty sure this is a boy. The baby moves just like my son did and I am carrying all up front. I would be ecstatic with either, I already have one of each so it doesn't matter! The only reason I wouldn't "want" a boy is because I can NOT think of any boy names!!
I knew with my twins that they were boy/girl, too. Furthermore, I knew that A was a girl and B was a boy!

Apparently my motherly instinct hasn't kicked in yet because I have no idea. Although everyone, including hubby, think I'm having a boy and it's starting to rub off on me. I haven't had the urge to find out at all, I'm pretty proud that I held strong.
Someone told me that because I have heartburn I'm having a boy, because SHE had it when she was pregnant with her son. Ahhh, yeah. I'm sure that means I'm having a boy.... ::eyeroll::
I have no clue - some people think its a girl, some think its a boy - I seriously have no inclination one way or the other.
Also in my dreams I've had a boy and a girl, so that doesn't help either.
It will truly be a surprise when he/she is born!
