Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing great!
As I posted separately, I'm 3cm and 70% effaced as of yesterday's OB appointment and otherwise looking good. My mom decided she didn't need to change her flight or anything and is just taking her chances that Baby Boy will hold out till she gets here on Sunday, so I am trying to take it easy and hoping he will wait till then. I'm looking forward to her arrival and to hopefully having a little bit of leave time to visit with her before we are thrown into newborn chaos once again!
Unfortunately, I caught whatever bug my DD had - she's had a congested cough for almost a month now, although her lungs have been checked twice and are perfectly clear, as are her ears, nose, and throat. She was put on antibiotics by her pedi but they didn't seem to do anything - she is just about over it now and has instead handed it off to me. So I have an icky cough ruining my sleep on top of having to get up and use the bathroom a million times a night and the coughing itself is painful to my stomach muscles. My OB considered giving me antibiotics as well, just in case, but we decided to wait till Monday and see how it goes since it doesn't appear that helped my daughter at all - this is most likely some sort of virus. I just cannot imagine how I'm going to push out a baby while coughing up a lung at the same time!

Scooby M - maybe an antibiotic is a good idea b/c it looks like the infection is bacteral and not viral sonce your LO has had it for such a long time. I would see a regular internist and not an OB about this though. Of course it's Fri and you may not have time for making an appt etc. Anyway, hope you feel better!

Hi Ladies,
I am doing pretty well, I started maternity leave this week and it's been nice to have some extra time. I napped big time today! Saw the Dr. yesterday, he said the baby looks good, not giant, and my glucose numbers look good. The nesting thing is starting to kick in, I found myself organizing and cleaning last night at 10:30, I am glad because I need to get some stuff done before Baby 2 gets here and was not feeling very motivated to do any of it before. Brigid is still not feeling well but I think she's getting better. 35 and 35 was Wednesday, a month left feels like nothing, I can't believe she'll be here SO soon!

I am due March 9th, scheduled for anatomy scan Oct 18th
Still feeling great but baby is very stubbornly breech.
We've tried an ECV with no luck, off to the chiro this week to see if she can turn him. Kinda doubt it, but worth a try.
Csection scheduled for next week if he doesn't move. That's a long way from our natural, doula assisted birth but hey, these things happen. Sure whatever what it turns out will be just fine.
