MS is totally different. It started much earlier. With DS it was only in the morning, this time it's been at any time of the day....comes and goes all day long. I've had really bad headaches this time as well. I've had a really hard time brushing my teeth as well.
My m/s started 3 weeks earlier and has been hell. I also doubt I've gained any weight (hoping I haven't lost). Everything seems to be completely different this time around.

Not at all. First one I was sick, tired, hormonal, got huge early on and gained a ton of weight.
This one I've felt great, even with chasing a 10-month-old around all day. Most of the time I forget I'm even pregnant. I'm still barely showing and have gained hardly any weight. The only negative to this one is I started getting BH around 18 weeks, and they are pretty uncomfortable. Luckily I don't get them very often anymore though.
Totally different. I had m/s first time around, but it was nothing compared to this time. I have horrible indigestion (didn't have that until very end last time) Constipation, super tired, boobs hurt.
I'm so worried for delivery! 1st preg. After I had an epidural I felt NOTHING and it was great, I had a fairly easy pregnancy, except GD, mostly uncomplicated delivery, so if this pregnancy is already worse, I worry about the future!
This time is definitely different. I was sick as a dog at 4 weeks last time with super painful nipples, exhaustion, and m/s that felt like the most horrendous hangover ever and it lasted for 9 weeks.
I'm really hoping that I skate by with no m/s this time just b/c last time was sooo bad. I get that little heave-ey feeling every once in a while, but it's pretty mild. That's been about the extent of my symptoms so far.
I wonder if the old wives tales are correct - last time bad m/s = girl, maybe this time a boy? Who knows...
A little different. With DD#1 I had some mild nausea at random times from weeks 5-20. This time, at 8 weeks nausea hit me like a ton of bricks combined with horrible food aversions, super heightened sensativity to smells, strong gag reflex, etc. Dealing with that and complete exhaustion all day long and taking care of a busy toddler is making this one a little tougher.
The only difference this time around is the fatigue seems much worse. It could be that having a toddler can be exhausting anyhow. Eveything else is basically the same, horrible m/s, joint pain, etc.
Both pregnancies have been identical. I had more cramping and round ligament pain with DS, but otherwise the same. No morning sickness, and the only real complaint is exhaustion.
Total opposites! With DD I felt great minus some exhaustion, gagging while brushing my teeth and sore boobs. This time around I have had every symptom in the book plus bleeding and cramping.
DH raises a good point- with each subsequent pregnancy you're older. Even if it's only a year or so, you're older, so your body is going to handle it differently. I was thinking that since I was just pregnant my body wouldn't be too far removed and it would be a snap- not so.
Totally different. With DD I was a little nauseas but mostly had heartburn ALL day long from the very beginning, constipation and my boobs hurt like crazy. This time I was insanely bloated for the first 8 weeks or so (that has finally subsided) and have been gagging/dry heaving every day, I have a metallic taste in my mouth all the time and also can't STOP going to the bathroom rather than being constipated, and my boobs don't hurt at all (maybe from BFing DD still). With both I was exhausted in the beginning but who isn't lol.
I'm joining the Totally Different team. With DS I had m/s but eating made it feel better, so I was already gaining at this point. This time, I can't look at food without getting that sick feeling, despite the Zofran. I've lost over 10 lbs
I am way more tired this time, although I have a toddler in tow now so that could be greatly contributing to my fatigue. I also started feeling nauseated yesterday almost 2 weeks earlier than last time. And I had cramping at week 4-5 and don't remember that before.
With DS all I had was horrible joint pain until about 10weeks then the food aversions started and the gagging started, but I only vomited once. So far this time my joints feel fine, but I'm exhausted (and four years older), peeing a lot, and having some diarrhea. Hopefully the gagging doesn't happen.
But like some other mommies I am determined not to gain 50lbs like last time. This time its not going to be an eating free-for-all.

This pregnancy feels different to me. With DS, I didn't even know I was pregnant till I was already 7 weeks. I had no morning sickness or discomfort and was only slightly more tired in the first trimester.
This time around, I have a lot more nausea, headaches and general yucky feeling along with being utterly exhausted. I can't seem to keep my eyes open past 9 pm each night when I usually stay up until at least 11 with no problem!
I am so grateful that DS is so mellow and easy going because I don't think I could handle high maintenance right now. lol
They have been very different. First time I had pretty much no m/s, was so exhausted my eyes would shut on their own by 6:30, and had several food aversions. This time I feel nauseous all day, pretty much no exhaustion (not severe anyway), no food aversions. I am insaney huge for 11 weeks though. I think I popped at 7 weeks.

Nope. This time around I've lost a few pounds, whereas last time I'd already started gaining.
I don't have any food aversions now, but I also have no appetite.
The best part is my boobs aren't even the littlest bit sore. Last time it was awful. Just wearing a bra hurt.

This one so different. With Alex I had nothing. This time around I I have had morning sickness, gas, diharrea, dry heaving, cranky, tired, mean
But I have not gained much weight due to being sick all the time.
