My Teen Mom thoughts
This is late. I know. I just got to watch it finally.
Maci: I'm really torn. Though Maci deserves to be happy after all that she has been through with Ryan... watching her take Bentley from his father was kinda painful. Uh. I don't know.
Farrah: Ok. Did she really let her child drink her Starbucks? Really? And her attitude has god to go. My other question, when did her prosecutor become her lawyer? Her story is so strange.
Amber: I can't even talk about her. I don't like either of them, but she seriously needs a therapist. I think Gary really does love her, but she's just down right crazy.
Caitlynn: Oh her mother... alcohol. I figured. What a mess that whole family is. Poor Tyler. No wonder he has so many issues. His dad has never been around. What a shame. That is all.

I agree Maci does deserve to be happy. I have a hard time feeling bad for Ryan, although, can I be a biotch and say she really down graded in the looks department?
Oh Farrah, I really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt throughout the whole first and second season, but this last episode...come on. She has such a disgusting sence of entitlement.
Amber...ick. She's ugly on the inside and IMO, on the outside. Although good for her for losing the weight. Gary, I feel bad for him. He's stuck around, I think, mostly for Leah. I think he should get custody of her.
I can't get over the hillbillyness of Catelynn's mom being married to Tyler's dad. It's so weird. Lol. I had no idea that his dad was getting in trouble for cocaine though, crazy. They really are a messed up family and they definitely made the right decision keeping Carly away from it.
I used to think Maci had a really good head on her shoulders. I know she's young, in love and thinks she is doing the right thing but I don't think she is. Of course Bentley is still going to have a relationship with Ryan and the fact that he's his dad will never change (well, unless Ryan quits making an effort). But she is still a young single mom and has a great support system around her. I think she needs to stay put until she's at least done in school, has a good job and has been with Kyle longer.
Does it mean she can't move at that point because of the custody order? Most likely. Is it what's best for Bentley? Most likely. In this situation, I don't think she has Bentley's best interest at heart.
It seemed like Farrah's "lawyer" was trying to tell her to cut the attitude and drop the drama, although she seems to think that she's not the cause of it. Seriously, one more roll of the eyes...
As for Amber and Gary.... he's a total loser and she's just flat out BSC.
I think Amber is doing drugs behind the scenes. Or she has got bipolar or something. I'm glad that someone told her in the last episode that Leah is both her's and Gary's and she needs to get over that.
I think that Farrah is realizing that life beyond Mama's house is rough and she just can't deal. If his family made her relationship rough, I can see why she wouldn't want to talk to them. Her mom was the one that told her to cut Sophia's father out of her life back when she was pregnant.
Maci is moving to be closer to Kyle, but she is also going to school and she likes the program that the college offers. Gotta give her the benefit of a doubt.
I love the connection between Tyler and Caitlynn.

I am actually upset with Maci. I know she deserves to be happy, but that doesn't mean she can throw all concern for Bentley out the window. I feel bad for Ryan and Bentley.
Amber is psycho. I don't know why she and Gary continue to put themselves and Leah through this! I understand that he wants to be with his family but he needs to take Leah and GO! And, haha, Gary makes her cuss in front of Leah? What a load of crap.
I feel bad for Catelynn and really think her mom is on something. She doesn't even seem like she knows how to be a mother to her, and I feel so bad for Catelynn's younger brother. Tyler's mom, I love. She seems so supportive of them and really cool.
Why did Farrah's dad wait over a year to tell her to get SS money for Sophia? Farrah's lawyer seems pretty annoyed with her, which I think is funny. She gets so upset with her parents for the dumbest things that are out of their control, like the car breaking down last week. I'm glad she's working on things with her mom, but I feel bad for her parents. She needs to learn some respect.
I just got to watch it this morning too.
I share all of your feelings on those girls.

Maci~ True, I feel bad that Bentley living farther away from his dad, but it didn't look like Ryan put up much of a fight. He only started to pursue the court option when other people pushed him to do it. He never seemed interested in Bentley when he had the luxury of living with him when he was still with Maci... so now that they are broken up, suddenly he has more interest? And he was shady with not introducing his new girlfriend to Maci in the last episodes, so now he knows what it feels like. And Kyle is soooooo good with Bentley.
Farrah~ Goodness that girl is a mess. Her voice irritates me, her manner of speaking apalls me, and her better-than-you attitude needs a reality check. Worst of all, I cannot stand how she is with Sophia, leaving her on beds and couches while being in a different room... so irresponible.
Amber~ I can't even believe I'm saying this, but in this episode I almost felt sorry for Gary. Amber sure is getting full of herself. But note that I said almost... the episode with Amber's birthday party, where Gary's friend basically brainwashed him into calling Amber and demanding to go along with the girls, made me just shake my head. They need to stop the break-up-back-together roller coaster and get off on the break-up platform. Hardly anything they talk about is related to Leah.
Catelynn~ This poor girl, besides Maci, is the only responsible one it seems, and she's so brave to keep her strength around her unsupportive mother. I'm so proud of her convictions, that she still defends the choice she made.
