xp: bright pink nipples

I'm trying to figure out if DS and I have a mild case of thrush or if my nipples are just pathetic and wimpy. I've been EBF for 4 1/2 weeks and my nipples are BRIGHT pink.  Is this normal? I feel like his latch is pretty good.
We said "I Do" on 9/27/2008!

    Do you have any discomfort?  Burning, itching, pain? 

    My nipples are bright pink most of the time too.  We did have thrush a few weeks ago.  I can't tell if they are just going to be this color as long as I nurse or if the thrush just never totally went away.

    Mine have been bright pink for 4 months, I've never had an issue or thrush
