similac returns at walmart info

FYI, I was able to print off the page (I did a print screen) where the similac site said my formula was recalled and they gave me a full cash refund.

 I am so livid about this!!  I can't believe Wal-Mart didn't even know anything about it.  And the 15 year old kid at the counter assured me that "if there was a recall, our attorneys would know about it."  So basically they're still selling this crap.  I am now using Enfamil.  No more Similac for us.

    Yeah I was just there and they wouldnt take mine back w/o a reciept because they didnt hear anything yet. Im so frustrated because i bought 4 containers and now im out that money and still need formula. So frustrating.

    walgreens did not know either

    I felt like such crap after I had JUST finished feeding DD a bottle of Similac, I log onto the bump and see the recall and sure enough, the container that I was ALMOST done with is recalled.  I also had a full container.  I actually opened the full container and poured a bunch of it into the almost empty one because I was afraid they wouldn't take it back.  Both containers were in the recall.  Screw them.

    My Target was unaware of it as well. This is such bull. I mean I clean/sterilize everything for my DS and now I could have been feeding him beetles. Great. I was finally over the guilt of not being able to breastfeed; that was reversed a bit today. :(

    Exactly!!!  Today I feel terrible about not being able to breastfeed.  My DH keeps reminding me that there was nothing I could do about it, but it still sucks.

    Honestly, I know it's upsetting but even if there was a slight amount of 'bug' in there..it really won't cause much issue with your baby.  It also seems like 99.9% of the recalled formula isn't affected.
