I'm so f-ing mad about this recall

My LO has been refusing to eat off and on for about the past two weeks, and she's been spitting up much more than normal. I chalked it up to teething, but of course now I'm worried that she got the tainted formula. I feel so bad that I've been trying to make her eat this stuff and she probably had a tummy ache the whole time. You would think something like infant formula would be so highly regulated that something like this wouldn't happen. I feel so bad for my little girl. :(

    who ever said infant formula was regulated? I mean, I use formula and I see nothing wrong with it, but i know it's about as regulated as vitamins and weight loss supplements.

    DS has been refusing to eat too, and REALLY fussy the last 2 days, which is abnormal for him.

    Just because it's not regulated doesn't mean people expect to find bugs in it though!! Lots of things aren't regulated, but I guess it freaks me out more knowing it's the ONLY thing LO gets.

    Can anyone get on the website?  I have tried multiple times to see if my formula is tainted.  It just keeps loading.  Every other website just pops up, so I have a feeling their server is overloaded.  Anyone else using Similac Isomil Soy and it is recalled?

    I had a can from two months ago before we got switched to Alimentum. I checked earlier on the website. It was recalled. Lot # on mine was 86541T20.

    This concerns me a lot - how long has this been going on? I could have been feeding my kid tainted food for two months??

    The company has set up a website and consumer hot line at (800) 986-8850. Consumers can enter the lot number on their containers online to determine if they are subject to the recall. The products should be returned to Abbott for a full refund.

    From what I understand they recalled everything made at that plant. I didn't think it would be recalled but surprisingly it was. I thought it might have been okay being I've had it for that long. I was planing on giving it to a friend who's on soy. That is definitely not happening now.
