My SIL still hasn't seen Xavier.

I find that kind of weird. I mean, I get that just because *I'm* excited to have my baby doesn't mean anyone else will be, but I still find it odd that she hasn't seen him ONCE! She lives about 20 minutes away--in fact two weeks ago she was 5 miles from our house and didn't even call to see if she could stop by. DH passed by her car while driving somewhere.

I guess I shouldn't complain b/c I don't even like her AND she is currently selling oxy-contin (sp?) as a means of income. So, maybe I'll just shut up about her, lol. The funny thing is about three years ago she made some nasty comment to me about how I'd never have a baby b/c DH didn't want one (which was not true, but DH was on the fence about having a baby at that particular time, which we worked out---obviously) and I wonder if eating her words is particularly painful Big Smile

My sister rocks though, she spent $400 to come down for TWO DAYS to see Xavier and cried when she had to leave. She's a great aunt.

    I sympathize.   My SIL still hasn't seen Jack and probably won't until he's almost 2.

    Did I mention that Jack is her ONLY NEPHEW?!?!?!?!  (No nieces either)  DH is her only sibling.

    Yes, I'm bitter, but my family is awesome towards him and they do everything they can to see him often.

    you are kidding me. What is up with SILs these days? Mine has been so lame too...a horrible aunt. I'm sure you are thankful for your sister as I am for mine!
