WHAT Similac was RECALLED???

I can't get on the website!!! agh!!! metal cans ok??? just not plastic???

    I just sent DH to the store with all 8 containers that we had here. I am not sure what to buy in place? ;[

    Don't feel bad.  I just found out too!  Being at work totally takes you out of the loop.  From what I understand it's powders only not the ready to feed.  So if you can pick up some RTF until you can check your lot #'s.

    Did anyone switch brands? Who knows how long this recall will last or how long it will be until the powder is OK to buy? Ugh. This is frustrating me.

    I have some Enfamil Gentlease at the house that I'm going to try until I can figure out what the heck is going on with Similac.....hopefully he will tolerate it just fine.

    Ask at your store. Our Kroger store should be getting new cans in tomorrow. We just bought 2 RTF to get us through until then.

    The company has set up a website and consumer hot line at (800) 986-8850. Consumers can enter the lot number on their containers online to determine if they are subject to the recall. The products should be returned to Abbott for a full refund.
