When are you going to set up the crib?

Ours is here but I'm thinking of waiting a couple of months to set it up. I think DD ( 18 mo old) will try to climb in it. When are you putting your crib up?

Ours has been up for months because I was too excited. Also we wanted our dog to get used to the idea and let him know he's not allowed near it.

Ours is already put together, we moved it from DS's room to the spare bedroom and got him a full size bed!

We put the crib together 3 weeks before DS was born.

I am due Dec 6th so I am thinking around November 1st or 2nd so the dogs have some time to get used to it prior to the lo being in it.

We ordered our crib a few weeks ago and put it together as soon as it arrived. And I just got the mattress yesterday and put it in. We haven't bought the bedding yet and dressed it up though.

Just set ours up last weekend. We'd had it for weeks, but we needed to finish painting the nursery first. I was nervous we'd crack open the box and it would be the wrong color, or be damaged somehow! Fortunately, everything was fine.

Just got my crib today!!! My mom ordered it this weekend and I was surprised it arrived so quickly. I still need to clear out the spare room and paint before I set it up...so it may be a little while....

My Mother informed me this weekend that she is buying the crib & giving it to me on Thanksgiving...which is 2 1/2 weeks before my due date. Not exactly my idea of good timing but what can I do?

We got our last weekend and I FINALLY convinced DH that he should steam vac the nursery last night so we are going to set it up tonight! I'm SOOO excited!

Ours will be set up just as soon as we clear the room, paint the walls and steam clean the carpet. It's been leaning against the wall in the back hallway (in the box) for a good 2 months now.
