If you happen to be on the pill, does it affect your sex life? 

I was just wondering if I was the only one it affected.  I have no desire for it.  DH thinks its about him, which its not, just don't want it.  and I do believe it's due to the pill.

    I think it makes our sex life better...  It hasn't affected my mood or desire but knowing that we can enjoy each other without the notion of possibly getting pregnant... which we aren't planning right now... makes it more enjoyable. 

    After a year plus of sex to conceive, it's so much better to enjoy each other without the pressure.

    Yep, completely agree. I want to want to have sex, just don't. Can't wait to go off it and have the desire again. What pill are you on? Mine also seems to cause insane mood swings the week of AF, not fun at all. Hope to never take the pill again after having another baby.

    Yep, completely agree. I want to want to have sex, just don't. Can't wait to go off it and have the desire again. What pill are you on? Mine also seems to cause insane mood swings the week of AF, not fun at all. Hope to never take the pill again after having another baby.

    I feel the same way, want to want to have sex and just don't.  I'm on Loestrin, luckily the mood swings haven't been too bad.  It's so hard to explain to DH too and make him understand b/c then I get frustrated b/c I get tired of hearing about it.  So not fun to deal with.  What pill do you take?

    When I was on it I had ZERO sex drive and didn't realize it was the pill causing it until I went off the pill and was like a horny beast.

    Mine is sprintec. I only have a few month left on my prescription and I told DH I'm not refilling it so he can be responsible for BC now! Hate condoms too, so will probably just do p&p knowing we could have an oops. Hopefully we both get our sex drive back soon!
