TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Please tell me about FRER evap lines (PIP included)

I peed on an FRER this morning, examined it for about a minute - watched the control line come up nice and dark - then tossed it in the trash, figuring it was too early (today is 10 dpo, I've never gotten a positive before 13 dpo).

Well, of course I dug it out of the trash about two hours later and dismantled the test to have a closer look.  (Of course I did! Of course! Who wouldn't?! ;-)) I'm pretty sure what I'm seeing is an evap line, as I know the new FRER's are prone to them... right? This is an evap line, right? (I am assuming it is, so you're not going to hurt my feelings if you tell me you think it is too.)

  • I definately won't pretend that I've never dug a test out of the garbage.  However, I do sincerely hope that his is you bfp and you should probably test again in a couple days to be sure!!!

  • I have gotten that before, and it was an evap line.  It came about a few hours after I took the test and I had taken it apart.  You never know though.  Hopefully it's the real deal for you!  I would just test again tomorrow and read it within the 10 minute time limit.

  • There's definitely a line...but 2 hours later, I wouldn't trust it.  But whenever I've rechecked my BFNs hours later, I don't even get a hint of a line!  Really, really hope we get good news from you in the next couple of days!!!

  • The FRER evaps are the worst, because they do tend to have some color to them like this one does.  Just test again tomorrow, and good luck!

  • Since it is past the allowed timeframe I am going to go with evap line.  Test again in a few days and hopefully that will be your BFP!
  • I have no idea.  I hope it's a real line, but better test tomorrow.  Good luck!

  • I don't even throw them in the trash, I put them back in the box under my sink so I can peer at them for days.  I've never seen a evap line (though I've never taken one apart). I hate to say I think you have to try again tomorrow.

  • If it were any test but the FRER I would be congratulating you, but as everyone else has said, I think you have to wait this one out.  GL!!

  • ::lurking and butting in::

    I definitely see the line there. FWIW I used FRER's at 10 DPO and they looked like that. I would wait a few more days and test with a digital. I don't want you to jump and squee yet, just in case, but that IS what mine looked like after a few hours. Best of luck to you hon!

  • I vote for testing again and reading it within the allowable amount but I would wait the whole 5 minutes before reading it. Good luck! I really really hope it turns into a BFP for you.
  • Good luck when you retest!
