so i decided to call my ins. co. to see how the coverage would work for seeing an RE. she said my ins. covers basic infertility (basically to find the underlying cause of infertility) but there was no time frame or loss count or anything like that so i guess that means i could see one now if my OB agreed.
So come Dec. you better believe i'm calling my OB so he can refer me to an RE. he said if i'm not pg. by then he would.

Actually my new ob said he probably wouldn't start any intervention until a year after the last loss but if i wanted to he said i could talk to him around the 8month mark of trying. However, my old ob was the one who got me thinking about seeing an RE. He said he would refer me if i'm not pg. by dec. and at the time i wasn't prepared for him to even bring up seeing an RE so i didn't ask any questions.
i wouldn't mind seeing one now so i guess i could always call and ask. but knowing me i'll probably just wait it out. i'm not very assertive. lol
yes, it's definitely a relief to not have that wonder on my mind about whether it's covered and if i needed to wait a certain amount of time etc... and i hope i don't need it either.
