Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Had to sign my first accident report

Yesterday at DC when I picked Ella up they told me she had pulled herself up (which she does ALL the time now) and overbalanced. When she fell, her teeth mashed against her lip and broke the skin.

I figured we would have some accident reports - but not before she is 8 months!!

Mind you, Satuday night she was using her walker as a jungle gym, climbing up the front to chew on the handle.  I'll need to see if I can get some pics of my little mountain climber!

  • Oh no! I hope she's ok. Popsicles cure alot of mouth boo boos are our house.

  • I wouldn't even have been able to tell (apart from a small bit of blood on her shirt).  Luckily, she will only react if it really does hurt, or if you react.  We've been doing a lot of yaying and clapping when she has a little bump at home!

  • Emma isn't crawling yet. She rocks back and forth and is a master at back scooting. I keep waiting for her to get the idea and take off. She's pretty content in her jumper, sitting on the floor, rolling on the floor, etc.
  • Ella rocked for a long time, and was great at army crawling, but all of a sudden it clicked and she hasn't stopped since.  I'm just waiting for her to stand up and walk to me one day!

  • We've had two incident reports and one black eye so far.  Once they move, it's gonna happen.
