  • SB is on fire tonight.

But fo' real.  Don't watch.  It's weird.  But you won't feel a thing. (that's what she said)

What does the numb stuff do to your milk?

  • I'm sorry, I've got no help to offer but this reminds me of that friends episode when Ross has the "thing" on his butt! :)

  • I've had 2 removed since LO was born and had no problems BFing. He shot it with that wart freezy stuff first and then gave me a couple shots of local. He wouldn't do the rub on numbing stuff, he said that was a no-no while pregnant/BFing (I had one removed at 37 weeks pregnant too)

  • It hurts a teeny bit but it's super fast! I had 2 removed oh and they bleed a lot. You'll be fine!!!
  • I have had at least 5 removed and a ton of skin tags.

    small  moles and skin tags:

the doctor swabbed with alcohol, took the tweezers and pulled it faaaaar....and just snipped off at the base...then applied pressure  for a second and put a band aid on it (it only stung for a second)

     big moles:

the doctor swabbed with alcohol, gave me a shot to numb (stung for a second)....cut it off and removed some tissue under it with scalpel...added a stitch or two...bandaid...good to go!

Neither were bad at all.  MUCH easier than the whole birthing thing.  :)

  • Eh, it's no big deal... I've had a few removed.  They just slice them right off and stitch them up.  And don't worry about it being on your butt.  One that i had removed was in my pubes... I had to shave in order for them to remove it.  Ugh - now THAT was mortifying.
  • can't help you with the numbing stuff/milk situation. But I have had a mole removed. It's a little weird, but not bad. They numb you with a shot then just razor it off. That's what I remember anyway, it's been a while. Quick and mostly painless. Don't be scurred!!
  • I will probably be getting one removed in the future... so it was good to hear that it's nbd! However... mine is right nest to my vag. I didn't know it was there until my first gyno appt! My OB asked if I wanted removed when he was stitching me up after birth....I wish I would have just let him do it then!
