I can't say enough good things about the book, Good Dog Carl

Marion loves, loves, loves, LOVES this book and so do we. It only has two sentences in it, the rest of the pages are just illustrations of all the things the dog and the baby get in to while the mom is away.

I love it because Marion can "read" it right now with just basic sentences about what they're doing on each page, but the illustrations are pretty detailed, so as she gets older, there's more and more details for her to pick up.

totally unrelated...have you seen previews for that movie life as you know it (I Think that's the title-it's the one with josh duhmal and katherine heigel where they are the godparents who have to care for a baby). The baby always makes me think of M, she looks like her to me. so cute!
