Quick Ergo question

My 4mo is a big guy (16 lbs and 27 in long), although he's not quite tall enough to see over the straps. In fact, his eyes/nose are right at the top, which totally blocks his view of anything. He gets pretty aggravated that he can't see anything, especially since he's used to my RS that allows him to flirt with everyone.

Is there anything I can do to get him higher? Maybe put a small folded blanket under his bum? I don't want to do anything safe, but he's getting a little heavy for long treks in the RS. Thanks!

Do you have the Heart 2 Heart infant insert? If so, you can pull the pillow out of the bottom and use it to elevate LO. That's what I do and DS loves it.

I did the same thing! Worked great and worth it. You could use a blanket as well I'm sure, but the pillow insert you don't have to worry about refolding it or anything : )

My 11 month old is 16 pounds. Not sure if this will help but I was confused too at first but this is what we figured out that works for us. When I wear her, I let her decide to be tucked in or out - meaning she wiggles her arms up and over the edge which makes her higher up and able to see out and around, or she wiggles lower and wraps her arms around me under the top. Usually she has one arm out and one arm in.
