I feel like I either eat too much or not enough. Half the time I feel sick after I eat and ALL the time I have heartburn after I eat. I no longer look forward to meals. Boooooo. I thought eating was the fun part of pregnancy?
Yuck- sorry you feel like this all the time. maybe try to slow down your meals? I know if I try to cram dinner time into 5-10 minutes I feel OVERLY full afterwards but if I give myself 20 minutes, and eat slower, I feel a lot better afterwards.

If all else fails- Tums?
Hopefully it will get better soon. =]
Tums just aren't working. I plan to talk to my doc about it next week.
I think you can take Zantac although idk what mg or anything for heartburn once a day every day...I would call your doctor and see if they can help you out with an OTC for heartburn.
Your stomach is squished up inside now due to baby so you will not be able to consume as much food as you used to. Therefore, if you eat a small meal, you will be starving 2 hours later (like me!) and if you eat too much, your stomach fills up and has a hard time digesting food (causing the acid reflux). If this happens I take 1 spoonfull of apple cider vinegar which acts as a stomach acid to help digest your food faster. Yes, it will taste gross going down but within less than half an hour you will not feel as uncomfortable any more and the heartburn will subside.
To prevent it in the first place just eat a small portion of food every couple hours. My husband knows now If I dont eat every two hours, look out!
Its hard because I want to eat everything in sight but have to choose one small meal. So make it something good!!!
