South Florida Babies

I'm worried

I'm 27 weeks & 2 days and I've not felt my baby kick yet, I also have fiberiods. What next . I need help.

Re: I'm worried

  • Im obviously not a dr, but I think you might want to call yours.  I have no idea what role fibroids play and I know sometimes the position of the placenta  you might not feel kicks but I think at 27 weeks you should feel something.   Keep us posted.. Good luck.

  • Like PP said...I would contact your DR. It could be an anterior placenta which would basically keep you from feeling baby kick until later in the pregnancy.
  • When was the last time you saw your dr.?   I would also agree with pp to call your dr., since there are many reasons you may not be feeling your baby.

  • I went to the doctor office with doppler machine everything was ok. Her hearbeat is normally and the ultrasound shows that she moving around but I just can't feel it.

  • next week the doctor and I heard the heartbeat everything is ok and the ultrasound show that she is moving a lot. I just don't feel her moving.
  • Last week I visit my ob. We listen to my baby heartbeat is everything sound great, and the ultrasound show that she was moving a lot, but I still can't feel her move. I've two large fibriod right in front of her. One is a the size of a peach and the other size of a naval orange.  I need advice please

  • i think your dr. is the best person to talk to about the fibroids.  If you aren't confident in your dr. then it is best to find a new one.  If they aren't worried you shouldn't be either.
