Snarky and T-TTC

while we're talking kitchen stuff....

The blender we got as a wedding gift wasn't great and didn't blend ice very well.  We retired it a few weeks ago when we found a magic bullet on Craig's list but now it doesn't work either.

I miss being able to blend things! Anyone want to recommend their blender?

  • I think we have a Hamilton Beach, but it is about 7 years old, so I don't see the model online anywhere.  Works great though.  I make a smoothie in it almost every morning.

  • Due to MrBunny's ridiculous love for infomercials we got the Ninja- and I have to say, it is pretty kick ass.

Fuuck TTC - I'm moving on.

"Ew. I've read all of two posts from you, and you stink like rotting garbage."
  • I think I'm done with infomercial stuff for awhile - our Magic Bullet experience spoiled that for the time being.  The Ninja does look cool though.....

  • Magic Bullet sucks for crushing ice. It pretty much only works to blend up powdered drink mixes
  • I'm still pining over my friend's blender that had a "snow" setting. We still do not own a blender (can you believe that?!), and when I finally decide to bite the bullet (pardon the pun, ha ha) and get one, I will buy one with a snow setting.

  • I also have a Hamilton Beach and I love it.  I don't know if it has a snow setting though.
