First day

of private school went great for DS yesterday! I walked him in and he wasn't nervous at all! He told me goodbye and got right in with the kids in his class! I'm so glad it was a smooth transition since I was a little worried.

I felt a little awkward at pick-up though. You could tell everyone has their little cliques and there I am standing alone. LOL. I'm sure it will get better. I mean, he's in Kindy and will be there until 8th grade! ;)

    Glad to hear he enjoyed his first day.  Oh yes, the cliques.  I remember that when my son started Kindergarten and it seemed like all the moms already knew each other.  Don't fear them, they most likely know each other because they have older children who have been going to school together.   Just introduce yourself as the days go on and if they are good people then you will make a great group of friends.
