XP from 3T: Update

On Friday we got the long awaited results of DH's Advanced Semen testing. This test examined the DNA fragmentation of DH's sperm. We were told the results could predict our success rate with IUI and/or IVF. DH's results were in the normal ranges which means we will be able to attempt IUIs. The doctor said if he was not in the normal range, then we could be looking at IVF as our first option. Since DH's DNA fragmentation is in the normal range, we are going forward with a medicated IUI cycle in October. I will be taking Femara and doing a HCG trigger. I asked about monitoring and I will be getting an U/S to check for follie size. I wasn't sure if this was protocol for Femara.I am so very excited about moving forward. We are hoping that cycle 15 is the lucky one for us. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers throughout these emotional times.

    I'm so excited that you have a plan now, and that you're in a good place mentally about the plan!!!

    I have a good feeling about cycle 15 for you too... but even if 15 is not it, 16 is a lucky number too :)

    Aww thanks!! I miss all my girls over here! Things are going here, m/s comes and goes and I see my doctor for the 3rd time on wens, and I am hoping to get an u/s!
