Lucky Socks comment from my DH

"Come on lucky socks let's get lucky!" As said from my husband. LOL!!! Never thought I would here that come out of his mouth! Just thought I would share that with you girls.

What is something that your SO has said that surprised you during your IF journey?

His latest one, a few days before our IUI....honey, we can't have sex, I need to get you PG (he needed to save his swimmers for the IUI).  It still cracks me up, lol!

  • He's said something along those lines about my lucky socks- like am I going to wear them when I get lucky?

And he said something funny during my last IUI when I was laying there for 20 minutes w/ my butt in the air- I think he told his swimmers to score a goal.  It definitely made me laugh.

Surprise BFP after 5 yrs of TTC
  • Those are some funny lines. What would we do without them!
  • When we had our first IUI yrs ago, the doc came in with DH's sample cleaned and ready for implanting. It of course was pink... (mind you we were completely uneducated about anything IF) The doc held it up and said well if this takes you'll have one pretty little girl. My hubs looked at me and we were like OMG it's a girl????? the doc laughed, he said I'm just kidding. I wanted to lighten the mood. His sample will be pink everytime.

We laugh about it to this day.
