Coworker's "Advice" WTF?! Vent.

COWORKERS! Listen!!! 

First - It's unwanted advice...

2nd - Who tells a mom to be that she's "gonna be big" or "yo hips gonna spread" Really? Do I want to hear this? No...

I know I don't have a bump yet, what you are seeing is food, bloat, and gas... It's not a baby. Trust me. I'm the only one who see's me first thing in the morning. No bump yet.

I know it's going to hurt. This one is just dumb to me.

Just because your butt got huge, doesn't mean mine is going to. I'm not having left over birthday cake for breakfast everyday.

And along those lines, just because YOU "Ate for 2" doesn't mean I am. I'm not you. You're not pregnant. I am. I don't want 4 cheeseburgers and a large fry. I'll stick to my fruit salad and veggie plate. And when I do happen to crave a cookie or a milkshake. Don't tell me "oh there goes another pound" Hush and eat your Mickey D's. 

And the dumbest one of all... Just because you smoked during your pregnancy and your child "only ended up in the hospital for a month with RSV" - Doesn't mean that I'm going to take the chance. So stop saying that it doesn't do anything or "It's not as bad as they say" They don't put warning labels on the packs for nothing. I QUIT! Get over it. 

 Thanks. I feel better. It's bad when the frat boys who just graduated college are more polite and reserved about comments than the mothers in the office.

    Surprisingly... In a nice quiet office. HAHA... Which is why I vented on here. I'd probably get taken away by men in white coats if I vented like that here.

    i don't understand peoples total lack of control when talking to pregnant women. congrats to you for not going off on them. especially at the smoking comment. don't you just love having The Bump to vent to all day.

    I'm sorry your coworkers are totally rude GRRR! How annoying!  Sadly by but is getting bigger ;(

    My one coworker takes the cake. When I announced I was pregnant, he asked point blank: "So, did you just miss your period or have you taken a test yet?" WHAT! Are you serious! Like I would miss my period and tell YOU I was pregnant! Ahh, some people!

    Um, my friend asked me this!  She found out I was pregnant, and she said "Yeah, well they told me I was pregnant too, and then I lost it...so did you take a test?  Or are you just late?  Did your doctor confirm?".  Yikes!

    wow thats rough.  I've found a lot of people telling me "one drink won't hurt"  or "you can take communion... really you think a sip is gonna do any damage?"  I'm sure a sip at communion is fine, but i'm not chancing it... its your baby your body, and you need to stick to that!  URGH people annoy me! lol... and i don't even know them!!!!

    Ughh, I hear ya. I got "chastised" by an acquaintance at a wedding last weekend when I ate my steak that wasn't well-done. IMO, it's a disgrace to the cow if you eat it well done! Stick out tongue

    Also, I literally had just a tiny sip of DH's beer yesterday. It was a new kind I'd never tried, and I just wanted a sip. All I had, no big deal. THREE people came up and asked me wth I was doing. *sigh*
