an IRL friend. a single one. with a child. texted me with, Im pregnant. This was last Monday. Its by a guy she met on the internet (nothing wrong with this at all) they talked a lot. On their second date, well you know what happened. However, she was unsure of her cycles, and he had a vasectomy. So she proceeded to tell me before the second date how funny it would be if she got pg, and this and that. Im like yeah hysterical. I mean to her there was 0 chance of it happening. When she told me she goes are you mad. Mad - how could i be mad ya know - I had a serious breakdown though. how does this crap happen.... Just like with her first, her BF at the time never orgasmed, but of course the one time he did...

...so that brings us to today, I get a text. Im tired. Another one I have to pee like 100 times a day. The next one. Im nauseous. i ignored her after this. Please dont talk to me. I am jealous of what you have as she didnt really want anymore kids as she is single and all. It stings. It sucks because she keeps bring it up.

vent over. thanks for listening. i just dont get some people. Oh and she knows ALL about our IF as well.

I'm sorry. That sucks. I went through symptom texts from my sister when she was pg and it was rough. She knows all about our IF. I just ignored it mostly..I didn't want to be a selfish IF'er although I couldn't stand it.

Maybe he lied about the vas, maybe he lied about being STD free.

That's extremely insensitive, you should respond to her texts with your "symptoms" (example: OMG, I'm so sorry you're having all these terrible symptoms. I don't feel well either...suddenly I have a headache, nausea, general sense of annoyance, and feeling like I want to rip the phone out of someone's hands, what do you think it could be????)

Jeez louise! It's one thing to try and tactfully tell someone experiencing IF you're pregnant but it's quite another to then text that person your symptoms! Also, the fact that she thought it'd be funny if she got pg on a second date and the fact that she asked you if you were mad makes her sound like a complete idiot. A 15-year-old idiot. sorry that this happened to you. You deserve a nicer friend.
