Speaking of IRL & Drama Llamas

I wonder how all of this Drama Llama stuff would be going down if this were a face to face. I bet 50% of the comments would never have come out. It is a lot easier to type it than it is to say it to someone's face.

    I think people have filters IRL, so I think most of the stuff that the drama's usually about doesn't usually come out in the first place.  I have a very small circle of friends and family IRL with whom I will discuss topics such as money, drinking/drug use, sex, mental health, etc.  I am also pretty restrained in what I will put out on the internet in regards to those topics as well, since I have the expectation (as should others) that whatever is out there is up for scrutiny.

    This.  Plus, I do usually say what I think IRL when confronted with opinions/beliefs/situations that I don't necessarily agree with.

    I think to a point you're right, but then I also think that I'm nicer online in some ways. If I know people IRL I won't go out of my way to be nice and smiley to them or blow sunshine up their butts if it's someone that I really don't care for. I'm not into being fake like that.
