DS is refusing to put on his costume! :(

I've tried 3x and he screams bloody murder each time.  it's a dog costume which i thought he would love b/c he has been all about dogs lately.  I was not expecting this at all, what on earth is going on here? it's nice and warm and fuzzy....i would want to wear it, but i guess it's torture to him!  anyone else dealing with this??

    we haven't even gotten that far! he starts freaking out the minute i put his legs in it!

    Maybe try just letting him play wiht it a while first before putting it on? IDK- I haven't even attempted to put ours on yet.

    Ds was only 4 months old last year at Halloween, but he still cried the whole time he wore his monkey costume that we bought at Carters.  This year, his pumpkin costume was bought for $12.95.  I figure, it's not a big deal if he's not into it this year.  I'm sorry!

    To be honest that is why I have never bought a new costume for my toddlers.    I have always found them at consignment shops.  On a positive note he could love it by Halloween.

    thankfully this was a hand me down from a friend, so if he still hates it in a month, no big loss.

    When DD was 16 months old she hated her costume and freaked out when I put it on her. Until I put some costumes on our dogs. After that she happily put hers on and wore it around. If you have pets it could be worth a try...

    And just to AW the occasion...
