OPT question, help!!

I am newly ttc, and on our second cycle of trying, I got the OPT sticks for the 2nd cycle, my question is Saturday, I got the 2 dark lines, and since I had bought the pack of 20 that expire 30 days after being opened, I tested again Sunday and again got the 2 dark lines and again this morning and again 2 dark lines. My question is once you get the dark lines do you stop testing? I was confused! I have the taking charge of your fertility book on order, but thought in the mean time I would ask you ladies! Thank you for any help you can offer!

The test line is as dark or darker than the control line on them? Then yes, these are positive OPKs and you can get more than one a cycle, keep testing until you O (are you charting?) and keep having sex until you can confirm ovulation - FF will give you cross-hairs after three elevated temps above your coverline.

First, the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to be a positve. I get 2 lines all the time, but not always the same colors. Second, I think it's normal for some people to get multiple + tests. I would keep testing until you get a negative. GL!

As the PP said, are you charting? It isn't required or anything but, if you are, you continue using OPK's until FF says that you have O'ed and you have a thermal shift.

Sorry thats what I meant I have gotten 3 days in a row that the line is darker than test line! I am not charging yet, just ordered the book and waiting for it to arrive; then will begin charting, I am flustered becuase I leave today for a business trip and wont get back till Thursday, so cant do it anymore

Gotcha, then there's not much you can do, hope you humped as much as possible in the last few days though! I would keep testing until I got a negative OPK though just because it will help you get to know your cycles and patterns for when you do start charting.

Okay cool beans.. you should use one of our tickers and sign up for FF now. You can start charting CM and CP (if you want) while you wait to chart temps. Plus you get to enter in your + OPKs! I usually only get 1 or 2 positives a month and they are always same shade as the control line, never darker... I'm sorta jealous ... hehe.
