Infertility

1st acupuncture appt =

way too many supplements. i walked out of there with two bags full of supplements to take.  it's almost overwhelming with the powders to mix and when to take/drink it all.  it's also very filling.  i had three glasses of supplements this morning alone that i wasn't even hungry for breakfast when i was done.  good news is they specifically treat IF patients and work with a lot of IVF doctors in town and have had some great successes so i know they know what they are doing. although it is a bit overwhelming, i'll drink those lovely glasses of supplements with a smile as i'll take any additional help to increase my odds for the next round.Stick out tongue

  • I don't get any supplements from my acupuncturist, but I do so love acupuncture. I hope that the supplements are helpful for you and that you get very relaxed from your acupuncture.
  • thank you... it was definitely a different experience and was nothing compared to those pesky menopur and PIO shots.  Smile
  • Uh oh.  I have my 1st appt tomorrow, and now I'm scared!!!  Hoping that the sup's work beautifully for you!  Smile

  • Do you mind if I ask what kind of supplements she put you on?  When I was cycling I was doing acupuncture and my acupuncturist never gave any recommendations.

Like you said, I'll take any advice I can get!

yes, i'm not cycling right now.  it will definitely change once i'm cycling again.

anyway, they put me on whey protein (2 drinks a day), nano greens and nano reds (one of each drink per day), another organic supp that i can't tell you what is in it but it tastes like a mineral supplement disolved in water.. not the best tasting (2-3x day), and flax seed oil pills along with the usual prenatal vitamin.  i'm drinking 3 glasses of 'supplement' drinks in the morning and then 3 again in the evening.   it's filling to drink all those fluids.  Smile
