When did your baby start crawling?

Asher is getting very close to crawling. He moves along quite well, but its not actual crawling yet...more like a hip wiggle/army crawl. Hes only five months old (as of a couple days ago) Today we was up on his knees and rocking back and forth and sorta moving one knee dragging the other. I think he'll probably be crawling very soon. Is this right on target?

LO can "crawl crawl" and has been doing so for about a month but has been army crawling since about 5 months he prefers army crawling because he is much faster.

Two weeks after the rocking on the knees Bee started to crawl which was 5.5 months.

Lucy army crawls and has been since about 6 mo, she's been rocking since before that thought and still only "crawls" 1-2 steps at a time.

She's a pro army crawler though

she just started about a week ago! she started w/ the all fours back n forth back n forth then blast off!!

now she's been crawling all over!!

Actual crawling was the day she turned 7 months. She did the army crawl and was rocking on hands and knees around 6 months or so.

He sounds like he is right on target, if not ahead of the pack.

DD started about a week after turning 7 months. Although it's not a true "crawl". She keeps one knee down and pulls herself along on the other foot, if that makes any sense. She was rocking on her hands and knees for about a month before starting her monkey crawl, as I like to call it

DS started crawling at 6.5 months and I'd say he was an "expert" crawler at 7 months.

Gabrielle just started crawling about a week ago, but she's been scooting since she was 5 1/2 months. She was rocking back and forth for a few weeks before she really started to crawl. So yeah I think your little one is getting close!

Around 5.5 months DD started to switch off between an army crawl and a real crawl. Now she just does a real crawl.

My DS is almost 7mo and is not even near; he makes no effort at all to crawl, he's content to just sit there. We have a late crawler on our hands!

Last week! She still kind of looks like she's crawling drunk, but she's getting better and better everyday! She's even starting to test her boundaries.

Full forward crawl 3 days shy of 7 months just hours after I got home from out of state training. Though she had been going in reverse and turn or rolling since about 3-4 months slowly prgressing.
