Whats everyone else dong for shower hostess gifts?

I have two baby showers, one next month and one in Nov. and I really want to do something nice for the hostess (my mom/sisters, and my best friend) but I have no idea what to get?

I was thinking I could bring flowers with, then they can put them somewhere in their house for the shower, and then maybe a gift cert. to a fav. restaurant or something? Any better ideas? What are you doing?

I have been thinking about the same thing. My ideas: mani/pedi gift certificates, candy, stationary, or grandma frames (my big shower will be hosted by my mom and stepmom). I am also curious to see what other people are thinking of doing.

My friends and family don't do the hostess gift. We just take turns hosting showers for each other..f.or weddings and babies :O) Nice and simple!!

Starbucks gift cards are what I gave my bridal shower hostesses.

I make handmade natural and organic soap and actually have a small business doing that so my friends are always asking to preview the newest scents and products. I'm going to give a few bars to each girl with a tag that says, "From our shower to yours".

And yes, my soap is available for purchase Big Smile (hint, hint)

I had one of those cute return address stamps made for my hostess and we all went for mani pedis together before the shower so I picked up her tab. I noticed she hand wrote all of the return addresses on the invitations so I thought the stamp idea was cute.

I am having two showers. One hosted by my SIL and one by MIL (one on my side of the family, one on DH's). I was going to give my SIL a gift card for dinner and offer to babysit my nieces. I think I am going to make a picture frame for my MIL that says something like "I love Grandma" or something along those lines.

I got my mom a pandora charm for her bracelet--a Teddy bear to represent our baby. My sister is also pg, so I bought her nursing pjs for after her LO is here. My little sister is still in need of growing up, so I went practical and bought her a new power cord for her laptop. Since I got a great deal on it, I'll add a target or walmart gift card to it. For others, mani/pedi certificates sound great! I have no idea what to get my mil when she hosts one for me (IF this actually happens)

Since our lil man has a Christmas season due date, I am going to get my sisters and friends different "best aunt" Christmas ornaments. It's not too pricey and I think pretty thoughtful!
